My husband and I came into Cosi for the first time today and a wonderful gentleman named Thomas was very friendly, helpful and thorough with the menu. We will definitely be back.

Manager claimed to have three hands. Also called me and my friends savages and refused to give someone parmesan when asked. Not enough flame on food. Extreme flame coming from the radiator. No free refills on pop, also didn't have cherry coke. All cups had a very odd yellow tint. Overall very good experience.

I absolutely love their food. Try two special perfect portions. Tomato basil soup and chicken pesto sandwich. Very college themed atmosphere, cafe style. Very friendly service. One of my favorite places to eat in East Lansing.

This place is good. Pretty much just like a Panera or a Corner Bakery. Good sandwich, but the soup tasted like it came out of a can. The best part? S'mores! And they bring the whole set-up to your table. Amazing.

Need a good cup of soup or a really good a salad? Tired of the dorm food? Cosi is pretty decent for a chain fast food place. They have a variety of healthy options. I love their tomato basil soup. Delicious! I also like to do a half sandwich and salad combo. Most of the sandwiches are pretty good! You'll be happy with a lot of their food. Go here!!!!

I still love Cosi even though it's a chain. Whateva, talk to my hand. Their tomato basil soup is creamy and comforting even though I always think tomato soup sounds super boring. And their signature salad is yummy with fruit and gorgonzola cheese tossed in. Fun fact, for some of their items (like the signature salad) you can get a "lighter side" option with reduced fat dressing and less cheese. Don't get me wrong, I loves me some cheese, but salads at restaurants are pretty unhealthy sometimes and I will eat all cheese in front of me at all times so I try to be proactive and limit my proximity to it. Sometimes. Get that shiz with a side of their amazing bread and dunk it in the soup and be happy. Don't be a loser and get a side of carrots (unless you got a sandwich. Then you probably have enough bread). Oh also I like their mango smoothies. I had their oatmeal once for take-out and I wasn't crazy about it. I should've gotten brown sugar bc it was crazy bland without it, even though I topped it strawberries and pistachios. Also it wasn't cooked right and there was a big hard clump at the bottom. So skip that maybe. Get a squagel if you want breakfast and just enjoying saying squagel all morning. SQUAGEL! Could anything be more fun to say?

I just went there to get take out. I ordered soup and the Adobo Chicken salad. Got back to my hotel room and there was NO chicken in my salad! I had to walk all the way back there. Check your orders before you leave!

Nice little sandwich shop with lots of variety!

Good variety and good quality despite being a chain. Their bread is incredible and I highly suggest eating it with the hummus platter and Cosi Club. I've heard all their soup is excellent as well even though I've only had the chicken noodle which has more veggies than found at other places which is a huge plus.

Extremely rude staff. I called in a breakfast order 7 minutes before they stopped serving. Told me over the phone they are no longer serving breakfast. Then I had her ask her supervisor and they did in fact still have eggs and were serving breakfast. I asked if I could get a squagel on regular bread. They were not accommodating and at this point I was so fed up I told her I was okay and said thank you and she hung up on me. I will probably still go back though because I like the food....

Great place to grab lunch. -Nice atmosphere for meeting up with people, not too loud -Offer an option to roast S'MORES -indoors! -VERY good flat bread -Always coming up with NEW things to try- like regional sandwiches and wraps -Never have to wait for your food, even with a ton of people in-line *I would go to this place anyday, instead of Panera Bread.

I remember as a senior in high school, my friends and I would plan trips to visit Michigan State (where we all ended up going to school the next fall) and we would ALWAYS eat at Cosi. There are several good sandwiches here and the pizzas are particularly yummy. I also LOVE the strawberry lemonade. Then I actually started school at MSU and realized that college students don't have the money to eat at Cosi all the time. I think I ate here twice while I was a student. It's good, but there are other (better) places that fit the college student budget a little better.

Rent must be expensive, because the prices here sure aren't reflective of the food quality. I had the tandoori chicken sandwich, which had some cold dry spiced chicken and soggy roasted red peppers on a flatbread for all of $8. Add a drink like iced tea and you've got a lunch for $10 or so, which is well out of line with what you're served. Sure the food was okay, but not great, or even good. And a $10 lunch better be at the least good.

I was not too thrilled with the turkey cordon bleu featured on their menu but overall Cosi is a nice little place to grab some food while on the MSU campus. We arrived around 8:30 so it was pretty empty. I figured the service would be a bit faster but I will let it slide for being situated on a college campus. Try the Alpine Chicken which is definitely worth heading over there - the man had it & it was incredible. I'll order that next time!

Kind of like a starbucks but with real food...I had a good food experience here (alpine chicken) but my girlfriends dish wasnt that great (chicken cordon bleu). Their salads are unconventional but definitely pleasing to the palette. Also, prices are fairly decent for what you're getting

I just went to Cosi for lunch today. I only go when someone asks me to. The ambience is kind of bistro cool, but it's always busy, it's on a suckass corner in downtown East Lansing, so the parking really bites, but over all it's not too bad. I generally get the grilled chicken t.b.m sandwich (tomato, basil, and mozzarella) and it's pretty tasty. The best thing there though is the bread. They make it daily in the store and it's kind of a flatbread; sort of like Indian naan. It's a little salty too and kind of crispy and chewy all at the same time. all the sandwiches are made with it and you can get it as a side with your soup or salad. If you dig panera, you'd probably like Cosi - it's a little more expensive than Panera ($7 for a sandwich, a really small bag of chips or carrots, and a cup of water), but I think you pay for the ambiance more than anything.

I enjoy Cosi almost every time that I dine there, however, I have had my share of regretful visits. My favorite things on the menu are the tuna sandwich (add swiss, avocado, and dijon for a real treat!) and the tomato mozzarella basil sandwich (also known as the TBM). The wait is never long, and during lunch, the style is more casual as patrons order cafeteria style. The bread is available in whole grain, and many alternative menu options are available for those seeking something more satisfying (or alternatively healthier) than a sandwich.

Cosi has the best spinach artichoke dip ever! Quick and good place to eat, the service can sometimes be hit or miss especially if you visit near closing time.

I love Cosi! Great sandwiches. Kinda pricey, but in line with other chains. The Tomato, Mozz & Basil sandwich is amazing. Maybe best for a lunch for 2, rather than a family. Cool decor & such. I recommend :)

You can't miss this place right on the main street in East Lansing. It's on the corner so it's a great location and right across from campus so it's within walking distance. It's also by one of the bus stops too so easy to get to. I hadn't been to this place until about 2 years ago during my senior year at MSU and tried it and loved their food! It's on the pricer side but its good and their staff is efficent. The set-up inside is nice and is in a large building space. Their bathrooms are clean and so is the resteraunt. They also have outdoor seating which is nice during the spring and summer months. Oh Cosi, thank you for letting us use your restrooms on St. Patty's Day too!

For me, Cosi stands out for its morning offering of omelette bagel sandwiches. You choose a bagel and then specify which two ingredients you'd like in the omelette: bacon, ham, Swiss, mozzarella, spinach, red peppers, etc. It's a nice way of getting your eggs in the morning without having to go to a diner that smells of bacon, or feeling compelled to order an entire plate of fried breakfast. Since the New York Times doesn't do home delivery in Lansing (resigned sigh), we go out for breakfast once every weekend. We pick up the paper in Barnes and Noble, then take it over to Cosi and chill out over our bagel sandwiches and coffee. Sometimes we supplement with a yogurt parfait, or a chocolate muffin. Cosi is a chain coffee shop, with a similar vibe to Starbucks. As such it hasn't got the world's greatest vibe, but it's airy and well-lit, and usually not too busy on weekend mornings.
